  • Official Match Day Thread: Roosters v Warriors

Surely Warriors can’t win two weeks in a row against quality opposition. Hopefully our players don’t think like that. They have a lot to play for and we need to keep the momentum going. We smash them on paper and now it’s time to smash them on the field.

    Go Roosters!

Fun fact: we lost to the Warriors at home in both of Robbo's Premiership seasons - 2013 & 2018.

I never know what to expect in our clashes vs the Warriors. We could win by 50 or lose by 10.

I say we win by 18 to consolidate 2nd place. Latrell with a double.

The Warriors have a habit of coming out and blasting opposition teams off the park in the first half.

Our wingers stayed on their wings in defence last game...they must do it every game.

Half of the Eastern Suburbs will likely be there cheering for the Warriors.
Hope we have enough supporters at the game to drown them out.

Tough game...Warriors are big, strong and fast.

I would expect the Chooks to get home on what looks like a beautiful afternoon for footy but the Warriors can beat any team on their day.
            Go the Chooks.

Consolidate top 2 spot on a sunny day on a fast track , we should have too much firepower for the warriors.

The SCG is now our fortress. Other teams can't get their bearings right. If we get to play all the finals games there, we'll waltz into the GF... So today we should beat these bunch of Cuz's

Unless I've miscalculated, a win today means we would only need 1 win out of remaining 3 to guarantee a top 4 place.

Quite right, as usual. There will be at least 20,000 Warriors fans there so it will be like a home game for them. And I can’t see our wingers staying in position - they’ll be frequently leaving the field to visit the TAB where they can get $5.75 for a Warriors win.

One of those losses at home was at Gosford so given our record there that doesnot count.
