  • The three hour trip

Could be worth taking a Sunday drive down to the capital. The opposition are confident and it would be a win to savour.
Get out of the way, I'm next

You could stay overnight at Jizms place and smoke blunts with him, Cooper Cronk and Stapo while he regales you with wonderful anecdotes and tells you about the dodgy Raiders home ground and time keeping....

Itís actually a good ground to watch at, should be a big crowd too, rug up though, the main grandstand gets no sun, and with an expected top of 9degrees, the concrete jungle wonít warm up too easily.

I am heading down. Never been to Bruce Stadium, GIi Stadium or the AIS Stadium. Looking forward to it. Nice little outing. Got my seats in the grandstand about 3 weeks ago.

            Bring it on.

I see we are playing in Perth for the next 3 years. No more adelaide?

I will have to get the family organised.

I haven't looked forward to a game like this for a fair while. It's a shame we won't be at full strength.

I'll be there with my whole family mate!!! IMO we'll probably get beaten (like we have every year since 2010) but that's why they need us. Winning 58-6 in front of 9000 fans was pathetic and I'm gonna own that because I was too soft to make the trip. New story this weekend!!!!

Raiders fans will flood the stadium and the ground managers will be up to their good old dirty tactics. As fans it's up to us to wreck the party.

Anybody know Wayno's number BTW? I wanna hold his Quagmire sign. Also keen to have a beer with Rob C and chat about politics.

It starts at 2 so should be 'right I'll wear a nice down jacket and some moleskins but am not expecting it to be too cold.

I hope we do some serious damage and make it clear the Raiders are top 4 pretenders.

Good job the players won't be thinking like that. Out of the few teams that can spoil our parade, these lot look like they mean business and the vibe I get from them is that same hungry look that we had last year.
On saying that, I won't be reading too much into the result this weekend unless we give them a towelling which I think is unlikely.

Interesting part is, whoever loses this weekend will more than likely reverse the result the next time they meet which could be an important finals game.

Forecast is 10 degrees, possible showers and wind. At Canberra stadium that means you'll shit shards of ice so take a dump before heading to that dump.

                            Chook.

Bay 27 is in the Eastern Stand which should be in the sun if it is out, I just bought tickets in the Western Stand which is completely in the shade ( which has been freezing the last two years I have been down there ). GIO or Bruce is a great stadium to view football from.
