I disagree with Robbo resting players.. We play now like a bunch of strangers.,

Hopefully like last year we click into gear in the second half

Good chance all our energy will be sapped from all that first half defence and the Cowboys could come out and put us away. Not to mention Cowboys coming off a 16 day break playing in warm conditions they'd be used to.

Just no direction in attack. Very similar to the last couple of weeks, I'd like to see Keary stand up and take some control of this 2nd half. Cronk has been poor.

Cowboys have dictated the game thus far.

Effort and concentration seems to be lacking. Poor ends to our sets and providing free rides out of their ends. I hate performances like these. Hopefully they turn it around in the 2nd

IMO no crusher though and JWH didn't 'lead with his head', he was pushed in the back.
Ridiculous, they back into it, hold yer head. Pen.

Our players just don't have enought height and bulk.

We have about 8 weeks to become friends again before finals.

bad when missing teddy makes us look like the titans though.

Yeah the only positives I've seen in attack are:
-One of Crichton's runs where he got us from within the 10 to a solid position beyond the 20.
                    - Latrell has had 3 or 4 amazing runs but they haven't resulted in points... yet.
                    - Hall has been strong. His positioning has been poor but when he gets it, he's solid.
                    - Butcher almost scored a couple of tries.

It's a typical Cows performance. Way too much $$$ worth of big forwards directionlessly grinding forward, wearing us down. 4 or 5 ex-Brisbane/Melbourne playmakers (again on $$$ thanks to a certain property developer) moving the ball around ad-lib.

Structure, energy and patience can destroy this kinda rubbish. However, we have none of these elements.

This game was always going to be tough due to
                      1. Cowboys have a good pack
                      2. Cooper 300th motivation
                      3. Gosford
                      4. All the constant chopping and changing of the side
                      5. No Teddy and Cords

we have lost the forward battle had no field position and basically played poorly. This is way the whole bs idea it’s all just going to happen for us is rubbish. We need some luck and a lift big time.

Keary looks as big as a jockey.

Interesting that Crichton decided not to offload there, wonder if he has been told just to knuckle down an run hard till his confidence fully returns.
