  • Bears on Channel 9 today at 1:10pm for those interested

Quite a few Roosters contracted players playing for the Bears today, Billy Smith is returning from his ACL injury from last year, interesting that Collins isn't playing.

Will be keeping an eye on Daniel Fifita haven't seen much of him and it seems he is edging towards an NRL debut at some point.

Billy Smith looks bigger/stronger than when he did his ACL last year, looks like he has used the time off to spend plenty of time in the gym, he has scored twice in the first half so far.

Lachlan Lam really needs to stop hogging the ball, just absolutely butchered a try by not even looking for support on his inside.

Lam again, doesn't even look for support, just butchered another try.

Lam jnr has bombed two tries by not drawing the fullback.

Billy Smith looks like a gun. Laughed when some on here said he's only been worried about his hair.

Pretty big and will fill out even more. Could be a long term replacement for Cordner.

haha.. watched the last 5 minutes of the first half and was going to comment how Lam is a complete hog. Won’t make have a First Grade career if that doesn’t change.

Young Lam is a hog like his dad. Still remember when Adrian was crunched by Storm fullback when he had support and butchered a try. Seems to run in the family.

I like how they play music when showing try replays, like they used to do in first grade games, adds some needed theatre when watching reserves.

Congrats Bears , much needed win. Hutch was terrific and Max Bailey and Capt Freebairn in the forwards too.

I know Lachie buggered up a couple of plays , but just having him out there creates opportunities ala Keary in firsts.

He moves well for a big guy. He could be a very good centre.
