    We need him.

    The Kikau of Bondi.

Wind him up, run him at the try line in the centres....under the posts, everywhere basically.
Stand him in the middle of the field and he can smash anyone who ventures thru there.
If he was smashing blokes like you are saying, he wouldn't be in the reggies at the TigPies, who have bought Tim Mannah in preference to having him in first grade.

Packer is a modern myth who has done nothing since he left the Dragons. He is more dangerous off the field than he is on it.
    Roll on Season 2017 ...

An injury or two to our starting middles and we would be extremely vulnerable.

An experienced prop as long as they don't cost too much would come in handy but not Packer, he is ordinary.
Call me a dinosaur (I've had worse.. ).

But I think if you can hit it up 2nd or 3rd tackle, you can do the 4th or vice versa.

I know coaches have become very structured and programmed and all copy the same format. But I would LOVE to see a Coach buck the trends (esp attacking structures and practices) and not be wedded to the evolving modern trends of middles, edges and flanks.

The number on a players back these days gets too restrictive and predictable. It doesn't need to be that way.

How refreshing was it to see what the Walker boys did with the Ipswich Jets.

I pray RL doesn't get so specialised and players pigeon-holed that we have someone run on to kick a goal and then piss off again, NFL style.

I agree, but you still need a good big man on the bench. Someone to hit up the 1st or 2nd ball. Someone to bend the line. We don't have it.
Collins is not cutting it. Farmer seems on the outer? Tets playing like he's been told he wont be here next year?

All the others are mobile backrowers.

            Not re-signing Tetevano is 'criminal'.

We're getting run over at the moment...team is too small.
              At least he's big.
Maybe we could dangle a fancy new car in front of him as a 3rd party bonus.

If we're considering Manna or Packer, we arn't serious about defending our premiership. Two slugs may as well get Keith Galloway, he's still playing.

In all seriousness, will we get anyone before june 30?

Does anyone know if we have 30 registered players on the books now?

Rothfield said Flanagan will join the Roosters next season, however the Roosters are keen to get him before June 30th.

                    Based on that if true
                    1. Do the Sharks need to shed players due to salary cap restraints imposed by the NRL?
                    2. If there are no salary cap issues for Sharks are they seeking to strengthen a position within there current roster?
3.If there are no salary cap issues for Sharks Could a swap be considered for example Brett Morris?
