  • Roosters Corporate Partnerships

Chookpenners, i thought it was worth posting an article on another corporate sponsor for the Roosters. It is mentioned in the article that we are now full in terms of available sponsorship for our team. I think this just proves how successful and reputable our brand is in the business environment together with our back office superior pulling power business model and Nicks management team. This success flows onto the field. Well done to the Roosters management team and all staff. Some clubs are battling to fill half there sponsorship space. Credit where credit is due.

As we prepare for the NRL Magic Round Weekend, The Sydney Roosters are pleased to announce that trusted global payment and risk management solutions specialist, AFEX, has joined the Club as a Premier Partner.

AFEX have secured the final available opportunity to appear on the Sydney Roosters 2019 playing strip and will feature on the left back-of-shorts position.

“We are thrilled to welcome AFEX on board as a Premier Partner in 2019,” said Sydney Roosters CEO, Joe Kelly.

“We look forward to working with AFEX over the course of 2019 to bring this partnership to life and welcome the opportunity for our Corporate Partners, Members and fans to engage with AFEX to access their global payment and foreign exchange services,” he added.

General Manager of AFEX Asia-Pacific region, Richard Poulton added by expressing his delight in the new partnership.

"AFEX has a long history of supporting sports teams around the world," he said.

"The Roosters strive for excellence, coupled with their values and commitment to the community, align perfectly with our values.

"We’re proud to be joining the team’s Partnership roster and look forward to working with the Members, the other Corporate Partners and the fans.

"Here’s to a successful season all round.’’

With heritage that dates back to 1979, AFEX currently assists over 35,000 commercial clients including importers/exporters, educational and financial institutions, small businesses, multinational corporations and individuals.

With services including foreign currency drafts, wire transfers, risk management tools and designated account executives, AFEX takes pride in creating a unique and strategically adept global payment and foreign exchange solution for each of its clients.

    Amazing effort in this market.

They used to have Small Business Sponsor packages. I don't know if they do. It was a great package to get involved at reasonable cost. If they still have them I highly recommend anyone with a small business doing it.

I’m doing a rebrand of my employer’s business and have an internal goal to get the Chairman to agree to sponsoring Easts next season.

Im 50/50 certain I’ll pull it off at this stage.

Tell him we own ALL four rugby league trophies right now and that it’s never been done before in the history of the game. You’ll get him over the line!

The Chooks are one of the super clubs in the NRL. The guys they have on the board are smart wealthy business men that attract sponsors.

We will never have issues attracting sponsors. Success is exposure.
