  • Sitili Bill Williams

Thought he was great again last night.

That grab from the bomb and setting up Supertrell for his second meat pie was a fantastic piece of play.

His general play in attack and defence was great as well and has a tonne of energy.

I hope he stays on with us.

Great to see another of our juniors coming good. I want to see him in rwb until he retires.

How good is it to have a coach who is just one step ahead of everyone else.

For the past week and a bit there's been a lot of focus on "escorts" and the officials have been blowing a lot more penalties.

Robbo looks at this slight rule interpretation change and challenges his team to compete for every bomb knowing that it's as good as a 50/50 proposition without players being allowed to escort anymore so long as the kick and chase are timed well.

We were unlucky to only score the 1 last night, there were quite a few that we were really close to holding.

That's the attention to detail we as fans are rarely ever privy to but it was great to watch last night. Other teams will have watched us and now copy it no doubt but Robbo and his staff will already be looking for the next slight advantage whilst everyone else is playing catchup.

On Sitili, he has been a real revelation. Robbo just seems to know how to bring them through.

I wondered if moving Crichton to the centres and Sitili out to the 2nd row for the last 15 minutes of the game might be a signal towards the possibility of using him on the edges down the track.

He covered significant ground. He was everywhere.

conceded ground and chased down Fonua.
mobile and fast and big. Just reminds me of Hugh mcgahan

Sitili has been more potent in attack in his 40 odd minutes on field this season than Angus has been all year. Angus has little impact. I hope he gets better. (And here come all the “he’s coming back from injury, he’s new to the system” comments.)

I have felt the same about Angus, but realised that Robbo is just using him a bit different. He is being used as an 80 work horse and I think he is doing that well. Having the ability to play hoth 2nd rowers for the whole 80 mins is a tremendous benefit.

He's coming back from injury, he's new to the system. And he's also scored two really good tries.

On Sitili, I hope we can re-sign him. Even if we play him as a middle, he's close to being in our top 17.

We sure are missing Big Pappa Napa...Not!! Our back up forwards are making more ground than Dylan did in his last 2 years.

Gus is new to the system, had an op, dentistry work, re-learning to read and also his time in quarantine while training in a Hazmat suit ridding himself of Verminitis also known as the Bubonic Plague.....

Sitili Bill deserves to be in the 17, he has a wow factor.........
