His recovery must be very advanced, because I didn’t expect to see him in contention for even the start of the NRL season....
PR work and a free trip home. Not playing.

Most of the English backs who try their hand at the nrl are usually quite young and inexperienced. Ryan Hall has played many international games for England, won gfs over there, has 300+ games, and seems level headed. He probably has the best chance of breaking the curse with our team, and I hope he does because I see a lot of potential in him.

Apparently he got a paper cut when he was reading the 6 page itinerary of the trip to France & England. I also heard he cut himself shaving after training the other day.

I don't think so. Around 6 of the blokes going over will not be playing in this game, and most of them haven't spilled blood for us either! I remember Joe Burgess making the trip when we played in the UK in the preseason in 2016 and not playing in the game itself and he hadn't played for us as yet.

Ryan's local knowledge will come in useful when we are there, which is reason enough to take him along.

Great idea, sign a guy and to make him feel welcome we will make him fly half way around the world on his own coin because he's not really 'one of us' yet

The Tricolors are bringing a squad of 23 over, though Ryan Hall is injured and unavailable to play.

    Ok, makes sense then...

Wonder when he’ll be good to go. That’s still a good sign his recovery is going well just to be named in the squad...
