  • Cronk 2020 anyone?

He turns 35 next month and he is 6 months younger than Cam Smith. Smith will crack the 400 game mark next year, but Cooper can do the same if he plays two seasons more.

Why the hell not? I'd like to see him there for the three-peat.

The way he played in the gf, he could play until he is 40. So yes, cronk in 2020.

I'd take Cronk for an extra year in a heartbeat.

He's been amazing for this club - both on and off the field.

If we cant get a decent replacement and his injury free why not.

I'm sure it would be up to him whether or not he wants to hang the boots up.

while i would like to see him pass Cameron smith in terms of games played, id rather cronk not end up with a 'year-too-long' legacy like Thurston
              EASTS TO WIN!

Have to agree Keyboard Hero...I was thinking he may well retire after our gf win this year.

But he obviously has the fire in the belly still and is still physically sound.

Dont overcook the goose though. He deserves to go out on top.

If he wants to play on, then yes, particularly as there's no clear cut replacement.

Definitely yes, I thought I read some where that he has already approached the Roosters for negotiations for 2020?
