  • Cronk injury update it's not good

Cooper Cronk was taken for scans at full time after sustaining a shoulder injury during the first half of the match.

Scans have revealed that Cronk sustained a severe left rotator cuff injury.

Rehabilitation on the injury has commenced and he will be given until kick off to prove his fitness.

The remaining squad members made it through the match without concern and will be available for selection in the NRL Grand Final

It is usually a 1-2 month recovery

he needs a miracle to be anything more than a spectator, this injury isn't about pain management it is about function of the shoulder.

I'm really hoping they've exaggerated the prognosis to relax melb a bit.

highly unlikely given his inability to lift his arm in the 2nd half last night.

given the nature of the injury it would be a dumb move, it isn't going to improve during the week, you simply can't take on the Storm with a guy who can't lift one of his arms.

I trust in Robbo mate and would be surprised if Cooper misses the match, even with one arm his presence on the field is invaluable..

I watched replay when I got home to see how this even happened. Sam bloody Burgess eh. Dirty pest. I know reynolds got him too (good game plan Siebold) but wasn't the flasher first? He apologised to Coops at FT, that guy has more experience in apologising than beating us.

Can’t see how he will be able to play with that injury.

                            Cruel luck...
