  • Cronk...What will you do Today?

So Mr "I talk a lot better than I play" Cooper what have you go in store for us today.

    Hit up maybe?
    Kick out on the full?
    Kick dead?
Penalty kick for the line that goes 5 metres?
Missed tackle close to the line?
    Telegraphed inside ball?
    Zero Try assists?
    A couple of running metres?

A try..what about a try Coops surely the best halfback in the world can score a try today?

Going to be a tough game for sure - don't know if all players are backing up either - be a slog in the rain one expects - so his kicking game will need to be spot on as well as the defence /eliminating errors and taking their opportunities - will need to play a lot better this week than last game against the Tigers as the Knights do have more points in them. Packed ground one expects too in this away game. Plenty of ex Chooks with a point to prove as well this time on their new home ground.

At least there's no Pearce playing. Hopefully our 4 SOO players are ok. I would have liked to have rested Cords, with Rads starting and Butcher on the bench..

Coopers stability is what i am happy with. His avg game and decent game aren't that far off each other.

Our ex roosters players suffered from a rocks and diaminds syndrome and no matter how much we were winning by we just never felt secure or in control.

Hopefully Cronk individual peeformance is a stand out today!

Our half needs better service especially on 5th and key plays.

Any knob can pass to our forwards hitting hitting it up off the ruck.

everyone saw how well teddy played with speed of servic and variety from DH.

whilst Cronk not playing to the level we expect yet, one needs to look at the supply chain and lead up plays

I don’t think we need to rely on Cronk for the big plays, we have plenty of players with the strike power to pull them off. He just needs to be calm and consistent and do his job.

Lets remember he is used to getting top service from the greatest hooker of all time. Not as much with friend as he stands up when he passes.

Like stated all pre-season it is going to take a while for everyone to gel, and that includes Cronk, he’s played in a very different system for a very long time.

He won last week without any Origin players in our team.

                      Knights? Probably smash them.
