My take on players in contention - maybe more than I have picked and the likely side - any other views? - Brooks for an example is the form NSW half in contention and Gus did say that Latrell is a cert for the left centre position - Addo-Carr is a cert as well for a wing spot

Again ...I don't get the Jack Bird thing.
He has done nothing all year, looks unfit, outta sorts. Incumbent or not, unless there is no other players to pick then I can't see how he should get a jersey.

I am the same Hawkeye, one of the worst all year, even the commentators who love him are saying Bird is terrible.
Brooks is another one that just is not an origin player

Bird gets so many mentions...... for what? He wouldn't be anywhere near my starting team or bench. I also don't get the fuss about Aitken or Sims, neither of them would be in my team. Where is Wade Graham is he injured ? Cleary will be back next week and if he is fit he will be half. Peachy would be my utility, Cook at hooker. Merrin has to have a chance this year.

That is a really good selection you made mate! I'd personally have Keary at 6 and Maloney at 7 just because I feel the livewire and off the cuff play by Keary might be suited to origin where as Brooks and Maloney both might be overly structured and predictable .... Just my opinion.

But if Brooks does get selected it's a win win because than Keary can help us win some club games!
