Got no idea - does it have something to do with their decision to break from the Roosters next year?

If those guys are the best names you have come up with, there is a fairly good reason why they are not doing well.

It's almost like these guys everyone wants to bring up from Wyong are actually shit and not good enough.

I reckon its a factor. Its natural there would be a disconnection now unfortunately between the clubs.

Easts have had a good "feeder club" record since this concept came into vogue, due in no small part to working closely and collaboratively with the NRL squad.

It really doesn't surprise me. They have the names to be playing a whole lot better than that. But most of these guys mentioned are training with the Roosters and then off to Wyong for a weekend game. So it's not as if Wyong Roos are training as a team together.

Unfortunately this experiment was never going to work as Wyong juniors are overlooked for the Rooster guys. So it benefits neither club. The Newtown connection didn't help our juniors but was more consistent as the players were training and playing in much closer proximity.

They did make the grand final last year but they seem to be playing without team spirit or cohesion. That is probably related to the lack of future prospects with Wyong pulling the plug. Last days of a marriage are never the best.

The whole backline, all of them are bloody hopeless, they can not tackle to save their lives, it is very rare for our forwards to be overwhelmed, Sharp, Centrone, Ickavalu, Manteallato, Matterson and Cornish are absolutely hopeless. Most our forwards more than hold their own, in fact they win most battles only to have the clueless numbskulls around them, screw up.

The coach is also a dunce, he must learn his bench rotations from Robbo

Faamausili, Baptiste and Sitilli should be the only o es co sidered for 1st grade, from the 4 games I have been too, everything good and positive comes through these guys, the rest are plodders

Just a quick look at the Wyong stats shows me Faumasilli can barely run for 80 metres so I’m not sure how a guy being average in an average standard of footy is the answer in top level NRL football but he’s the hipsters’ flavour of 2018 so I’m sure it’ll be a never ending call for him to be called up.

I reckon there could be a bit of that. Wyong hates us, nobody wants to play for a club that is quitting very soon and we probably dont wanna put too many resources into a club that dogged us.

Sigh... I hope we can beat Manly this week because glum can go to depressing pretty quickly.

Wyong simply cannot afford to play in this competition and we only supply a handful of players so it's going to be a long old season, Wyong will go down a division for next season which is where they really should be, what we'll do however is a complete mystery.

maybe approach newtown again although weve established a presence on the central coast now it would be a shame to waste it?

unfortunately for Wyong we went for quality instead of quantity, we got two but lost eight

For the record Wyong can afford to play in the competition and would have more money than most of the teams in the comp combined, except for penrith. Wyong isn't going down a division next year they are simply focussing their efforts on the local CCoast comp and its juniors. The partnership was doomed from the start.
