  • Who will be our new feeder club?

I've heard the Roosters are in talks with a certain club to be their feeder team next year. I don't want to mention who it is in case it ruins things, as it would be a good move imo. Has anyone heard anything official?

I recall speculation on the Central Coast Roosters but I am not sure if that was just fans theorising or if there was talk about it in the papers when the article about Wyong leaving was released.

Technically we're the feeder team for the knights.

Why can't we have our own reserve grade team?

A good question. I'd be happy with that, too.

Why don't we have our own reserve grade side ? It's not as if the club can't afford it and it would serve the club well with depth as in all the players will have ties to the club rather than half the team. How may of the Wyong team aren't contracted to the Roosters ? What's the point of this endevour if all the players aren't contracted to the Roosters ?

We don't run our own because of cost and effort. Its alot more expensive than you might realise and also requires more staff and more work for the current staff

All that has to be weighed up against the benefits

All clubs used to run 3 grades once upon a time, it was affordable then.
