Hi Everyone! I am Maree. I am 40 years old, a fully qualified & experienced Chef, I'm employed full time & I'm a Mum of 2 teenagers, living & working in Sydney NSW. Even though I am originally born & bred in Carlton, Victoria:
I ALWAYS HAVE BEEN & ALWAYS WILL BE, A LOYAL ROOSTERS FAN!
I have been LOYAL for the past 38 years & I will remain so through the next 38 years, AND BEYOND!!!...

I have only been on FB via my phone since June 2010, when my StepDad of 25 years, was tragically killed in a freak workplace accident & my kids encouraged me to join FB to communicate more regularly with loved ones & my interstate family members... But I have also been fortunate enough to join in and be included in some Roosters Fans FB world, which really does have quite a healthy community of ROOSTERS FANS
I have met some of them & have made some fantastic friends with some very beautiful people that I treasure & will always value their friendships for life...
I have only owned my laptop to get online here since Jan 2011...

(Seeing as I have just noticed that I AM NOT the only recipiant of such pathetic & immature personal attacks - I just think it's time that someone called for peace & reminded everyone that this is a site to discuss all things Roosters & Footy!!! - It IS NOT the right forum to conduct personal attacks or witch hunts against any individual/s, you may or may not personally like)

It is due to my being sick to death of some OF these particular peoples examples on here, displaying certain mental health & jealousy issues towards others, that they feel the need to publically attack others personally, & then they have the subsequent 'bully bandwagoner friends', who have joined in their ringleaders constant barrage of abuse, unfounded accusations & negative &/or spiteful comments upon the victims good character, & it just keeps feeding into it at every opportunity so that THE ROT SETS IN & nothing improves for anyone, LEAST OF ALL THE VICTIM!!!

FOR THIS REASON & FOR RESPECT TOWARDS OUR CLUB & OUR FELLOW FANS, I AM COMPELLED TO CALL FOR PEACE &/OR, AT LEAST QUIET FROM THESE TYPES OF NEGATIVE, MALICIOUS MINDED PEOPLE!!!

And I would request that anyone who wishes to interact with me, get to know me personally or leave comments on my posts here, THEY DO SO BUT PLEASE REFRAIM FROM ANY TWISTED & NASTY PERSONAL ATTACKS &/OR LEAVING ANY NEGATIVE COMMENTS UPON ANY OF MY FELLOW ROOSTERS FRIENDS!!!

You forgot to mention the aggro chookies in Bay 14.

I used to sit in the Pen when I first started going to the footy, but moved on after a few years. Anyone who doesn't enjoy sitting in there anymore should simply do the same. Find a bay where you are are happy with those around you.

I sit in the chook pen and have done for the last 10 years. This year a bad element has crept into the pen. I so sick of the foul language and the constant abuse. I don't see that there is much i can do. ? I have emailed the roosters and they said that if it keeps it up they will suspened their membership. Honestly i think the roosters need to do more what can i do?

I started sitting in the pen this year and i loved it at first.
The atmosphere in there is electric at times.
Too much bitching and chookpen politics has turned me off it and i haven't sat there since the Manly game!
That, and the fact that there always seems to at least 1 **** knuckle in the opposItion bay right next to the pen that wants to start the whole crowd!

I'm sorry to say there is a pecking order in the Chookpen. I'm sure that either Supermario or Junior would be obstreperous towards a person usurping their authority as leaders of the pen.

As much as I'm sure there is a camaraderie there, there is also a...forgive the term...pecking order.
