I was just wondering about the rules and regulations of long service allowance. I've heard it is after 7or 8 years that a player has been at the one club, that part of his salary won't be included within the salary cap.
If it is after 7/8 years that this comes into affect, surely SKD's potential new contract will be subsidised by this allowance, as would Aubos if he re-signs again at the end of next season? This could really help us keep an extra player who we'd lose otherwise due to the cap. This is about as close we will get to a reward for the development of much of our squad
