I didn't get an opportunity to see the whole game yesterday, but from what I did see, my observations were:
The performance from both our halves was consistently poor. The effort was there, but the execution, decision-making, composure, and direction was just really consistently poor from both halves. Every player has an off game from time to time, or even some off periods within a game, but for both our representative halves to both have 80 minutes of poor football against the bottom team on our home ground when the game was there for the winning all game is worrying....
Also, in the parts that I saw, our halves had ample time and space to make their decisions. Thank goodness that Jimmy can kick goals.....
Other observations: I enjoyed the obvious passion and intensity that Aubbo played with; I continue to be impressed with Isaac Liu in all facets of his game, I liked the passion that Kane Evans showed on the bench when the camera panned to him after we scored our second try; and finally, we NEED to move fast and move mountains to lock up RTS long term. He is all class.....
