I once new a kid about 6 years ago or so he played basketball with my godson and have seen him a few times through the years but not the last couple he won the Basketball comp in Alexandria at that time they gave my son a premiers trophy (for been the day Mascot) hehehe. The young kid said to me I wanna be a first grade footballer .I said to him train hard real hard listen to nobody but your coach stay away from the riff raff ( been his then crowd) work real hard and your dream will come true .I didnt know the same kid was our Kane Evans..cool.He will make it he is at the stage where JWH was 4 years ago a reputation to build on even JWH struggled to run 60-70 m a game but he had the goods -He also worked hard to be the best.

Its a big contrast to my godson who repped oz in Basketball at the age of 15 was areal good soccer player and a good cricketer got him a scholarship wit Indiana (USA) basketball team ...but he got caught up with the riff raff .Yesterday he was depressed because he knows he wasted a great opportunity ....but The Brain has some thing up his sleeve...How about a 14 year old that is 6'5 never played league before a real gentle giant and he is carving them up .....what do you reckon? if he doesnt grow too big he could be special.Been teaching to run catch pass tackle last few months ...never new he had it in him but he is going good too..my God Sons bro.

Wow nice to hear, also having an insight of him as player, that's great.
