Couldn't agree more, he really has gone past his use by date, as for Gus before the game started & the three of them were talking he was like a little kid on the chair, the older he's got the worse he's got.
Warren is a shocker has been for years I really wish they would pension him off. He kept rabbiting whilst the ground announcer was talking about Graham Murray before the minutes silence, he then decided to hand over to the announcer just in time for the minute silence, I thought he would never shut up, so ignorant

He was identified by Ray Warren at the beginning of the commentary as being the Panthers footy boss.

What I object to is seeing and hearing the Panthers trainer ... instead of seeing and hearing the match play.
I don't care what the Panthers trainer looks like, who he is, or what his claim to fame is...I want to watch the play.

What the hell is Shane Elford's claim to fame? He lucked out with Benji being in career best form in 2005.

I actually thought Gus wasn't too bias. He does love the roosters. I really am getting tired of Ray Warren' commentary. He is a good game caller, but I am not interested in his point of view, never have been. Ray is now 70, and I think is still calling ok, although he is past his best.
I just wish, he'd shut up, and stop boring us with his opinions. Channel 9 have a problem. They sacked Andrew Voss, which was a huge mistake. They now realise that Ray Hadley is not a TV caller, whilst Tim Gilbert should never call again. Matt Thompson who called last nights second match, screams too much. Irritating

At one stage, mrs b-b, not happy with something Gus said, called him a rude name.

Gus is ok, he stood up against the Superleague invaders.
...and basically built the Roosters team that won the 2002 GF.

Gus is now the Panthers footy guru...the game was at Panther park, their home game...so I would expect his commentating to have a pro-Panthers flavour.
The playing surface looked to be as Gus was praising, the best in the NRL.

I still believe that Sterlo is the best commentator, he never shows biased and is one of the best men who can analyse the game.

Hadley and the bloke commentating the Broncos game (Help me out anyone?) is annoying and Vossy will never have another shot apart from possibly Fox Sports otherwise he's stuck with New Zealand games

Hadleys commentary is for radio...too much talk. Don't know what Vossy did...maybe got drunk at a Chrissy party and said or did something wrong cause I used to like him on Sunday Roast. not a fan of Tim Gilbert.
