Just home from watching the game on Fox, down the club, without sound, so wasent made biased by the commentators, so from what i seen, for us Blackman and RTS, tried all day, the others not worth much at all, Evans and Napa, were thoroughly outplayed by the Tigers pigmy pack, and Evans, does has some stupid penalties in his game, at vital stages of a game, basically, our handling was terrible, our defence was almost non existant, and our attack was predestrian at best, apart from that, we were the better side.
Seriously though, their 1,2, and 5, cut us too pieces, with a thing called speed, which non of our blokes had in abundance, and it came home to haunt us, but we did well, to get this far into the competition, with the talent on hand, but for mine, most of them are certainly not going to progress into first grade material, at any stage. Lets hope Newtown can do the business tomorrow, so we at least have something to watch with interest on Grandfinal day..
Cheers........Burnt Rooster

I only was able to see the first half, and I must say it was a bloody ordinary standard of game. Plenty of handling errors, our centres were really $hitting me at times. Our attack was crap, it took a penalty to finally get us some field position, and then the first time we got inside their 20 we scored thanks only to RTS sparking the attack. We were getting dominated by the tigers in field position, with them winning the ruck. Their play the ball was far quicker, and they were making easy metres the whole first half as our defensive line was hardly ever moving up at all. Our outside backs running from dummy half were just running side ways making no yardage at all.Originally posted by Burnt Rooster View PostJust home from watching the game on Fox, down the club, without sound, so wasent made biased by the commentators, so from what i seen, for us Blackman and RTS, tried all day, the others not worth much at all, Evans and Napa, were thoroughly outplayed by the Tigers pigmy pack, and Evans, does has some stupid penalties in his game, at vital stages of a game, basically, our handling was terrible, our defence was almost non existant, and our attack was predestrian at best, apart from that, we were the better side.

Burnt Rooster you gave Blackman a wrap, but from what I saw in the first half I was not impressed with him at all. He offered nothing in attack and his defense is not the greatest either. If he is stepping up to the Jets next year, he would want to improve out of sight over the preseason otherwise we will need to be looking out for another hooker. I am quite concerned for next season if Friend goes down for an extended period, as who will help out Seluini in first grade? The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!
Here's looking at you, kid.

If Anasta plays in the halves next year, Korobetee will be waste away on the wing with no possession. Sh1t that kid has talent and speed.
I would consider signing him for sure, even though everyone on this forum is in love with everingham of the vermin.Exchange him for Ratu Peni, if the tigpies are up for it.....Comment of the year:

I certainly am not a fan of skinny $ouff$ turd everingham! Who I would like to get is either of the two raiders, Reece Robinson or Edrick Lee. Korobetee of course would be nice as well.Originally posted by davos View PostIf Anasta plays in the halves next year, Korobetee will be waste away on the wing with no possession. What scares me is robinson is putting his faith in JT around our attack next year. The NYC team have very little creativity in that area. They play a boring style of one up footy and rely on power and strength. The backs are pathetic bar RTS. The centres were atrocious yesterday specially that one with fat gut from NT.Exonerate the West Memphis Three - www.wm3.org

JT had a very mediocre squad bar RTS, Evans and Napa so he played to the strengths of these three and they went within a match of the grand final, overachieved as far as I'm concerned.Originally posted by Roosterfarian View PostWhat scares me is robinson is putting his faith in JT around our attack next year.
