Is there a reason you’re having a crack at a fellow Chookpenner rather than commenting on the performance that your team just dished up?
Are you sure you actually give a shit about the club, or are performances like that completely acceptable in your mind?

Makes you wonder what on earth we do all pre-season. I know everyone trains hard but we looked so unfit and so under-prepared, almost overwhelmed. Especially in the forwards. Shame we let one of the fittest and most skilful ones walk out for nothing as he didn't fit the future of the club. What's the future? Pedestrian defending and forwards on their haunches after 5 mins? Pitiful showing tonight from the forwards.

Toia far and away our best and a bright spot. Teddy tries his guts out all the time. Marky Mark flashes of quality aswell.

Chad T. Wow. Almost feel sorry piling on him. Looks miles off it and too slow. Almost like we could've predicted that given he got dropped by a mid table Cows and released a year early from his contract.

Think it's more to do with the refs mate.Apparently it's there fault.Nothing to do with the players or coaching staff

    Starting with positives
    - Teddy was amazing as ever
    - Toia is an absolute gun and showed his potential - looks trimmed down abit sense last year maybe to reduce injury
    - Marky N looked hard to contain as well

where do we start with negatives
    - injuries are just unlucky and will hurt more with rads our next week
    - robbo - just F off
    - recruitment and retention (do we even have this department? wtf are we doing with the millions we lad from all the players leaving?
    - letting Terrell may go when we have no front rowers
    - not going harder at Ben hunt when we had cash and injury issues
    - defense has fallen off a cliff
    - Collins hits hard in d but lost all confidence running the ball

let’s just hope in the next two weeks rads, both butchers, Spencer, and Billy smith are all back

Yep I'm glad they had a dig & gave the Broncos fans 50pts

I'll be happy if we win the toss this year.

Based on our trial results and this performance, I’m not sure there’s a team in the NRL that we can actually beat. Tigers would flog us.

Completely dominated in the forwards, Chad is absolute rubbish and Dom still has zero idea how to defend. Says everything when our backs are bigger than our forwards. Was all over when Victor departed. Do we have a defensive coach? We took our defensive lessons…….fark me.

Positives - Rob Toia will carve up behind a good pack, as will Sandon Smith. Surprisingly Doker-Clay added a little spark and some of our young guys got some experience.

Gonna be a long, long year, but the good news is that it will be over for us before it is 8 other teams.

    -Rob Toia is a star
-We can't win much games under Sutton reffing
    -Hope Victor is ok
-Maybe Lindsay should gain some weight so he's not driven back every tackle
-We're lucky to have Teddy, he's never stop trying. MoM for me
Nice little snapshot mate, sums up my thoughts pretty close too.

Kinda what I expected tonight. The wet track might have saved us further embarrassment. That ground needs something done, too many players slipping.

It's a luxury having two halves like Reyno and Benno, add speed and size compared to us and you get a result like that.

I am willing to give the team a bit more time to show some improvement.

But yeah, things don't look good.

To give up 50, game 1, is a HUGE concern.

When Radley went off, why not put Watson to lock and bring on ZDC ??

    See you round 3.

I didn't. We were also rans before we lost players and we replaced them with guys from one of the worst NSW cup teams getting pumped by 50 will be a regular thing this year. Thank god Penrith are coming off a game in Vegas because they could've put 70 on us.
