Jarome Luai, Lachlan Galvin, Api Koroisau and Jahream Bula.
Townsend, Sandon Smith, Connor Watson & Teddy.
3 to 1 they have a better spine.
If Walker & Smith are available it becomes closer but Luai has better credentials than Walker & Api is better than Smith so they still have a better spine.

Hypothetically speaking maybe as both spines haven't played together so if Bula ate a can of Spinach and Galvin sprouted his first pubic hair then anything is possible.

Hard to say when the Roosters spine hasn't played a game yet in rating them against other teams spines - Tigers did have Bula, Galvin and Koroisau as three of their spine and picked up the spoon.
The Tigers new spine with the addition of Luai is untested as to what their rating maybe as far as spines go.
Penrith don't rely on one or two players to win games despite what others may say- all players know their roles - Even with Cleary out they just continued on as they play as a team - each individual knowing their role as a player and as a part of a team effort.
Luai would not come here. He wants to be the main man and would never want to play second fiddle again…this time to Walker…
Tigers are paying him 1.2 mill and could go up to 1.4 to 1.5 mill if required - no way the Roosters would pay that money - Tedesco is the highest paid player the Roosters have ever had on their books at 1.1 Mill a season.

If the Tigers go belly up and no other club is silly enough to pay overs then his asking price could drop significantly.

The franchise will not go belly up the only thing that will happen is the Tigers name will be replaced with the word Magpies.
Luai will not be coming to the Roosters.
Move on
