Protected species of homo sapien... QPS, Broncos Boardroom, PVL/Abdo, The NRL "lack of" Integrity Unit... what was Abdo's comment again, about the standard you walk past...??? You reap what you sow!
After the dust settles, & everyone forgets, newscorp will do a character makeover on spMam... in 12 months he will be Australian of the Year... what a best-seller!!!

Ezra Mam: Broncos star charged after alleged drug-driving crash in Brisbane
So, Mitchell Pearce gets an 8-week suspension and $125,000 for a harmless mistake but didn't harm anybody. Spencer Leniu receives an 8-week suspension for calling someone a monkey (which wasn't racist as Spencer was ignorant of the connotations) but the NRL decided to make an example out of him. Extremely unfair.
One can only hope if the NRL has any integrity (I'm not holding my breath), the book should be thrown at this hypocritical crybaby. A typical sook who can dish it out but can't take it. The NRL should think of the 4-year-old girl with the fractured hip, the mother and the uber driver first instead of that privileged crybaby.
One can only hope he gets a decent stint in jail where he rightfully belongs and I for one hope to never see him in an NRL (or any other league for that matter) jersey ever again.

I don't know Judge. Maybe just the ones who have a cry cause they played sh.it and projected it, cause a massive media feeding frenzy and get a simping woke, DEI motivated NRL to wipe our new recruit out of the game for a third of the season. And then his side misses the 8, gets his coach sacked, and disgraces himself in Bali destroying someone's phone, all of which got swept under the carpet.
Like this appears to be headed for.
What do you reckon Judge? Should the NRL make a political statement and ban Ezra for only 2 weeks, to highlight how much worse Spencer's actions were?
Was the punishment of Spencer sufficient? Maybe not. Some newspapers are stating Ezra's drug driving without a license, crossing over the other side of the road causing a head on grievously injuring a small child and 2 others, is a direct result of Spencer Leniu's unspeakable verbal assault on Ezra at the beginning of the year.
What do you think Judge? Should the NRL suspend Spencer for another 8-10 weeks?
Can the healing begin then?

Are we going to highlight every player who has had grievances with Roosters players ??

Obviously roosters related because of the persecution of Spencer Leniu.
Secondary drug test positive.
Interestingly the police charges are driving while on drugs, driving while unlicensed and "failure to maintain control of a vehicle", which I understand is a traffic violation and not a criminal offence.
Even though he caused a serious head on and broke a 4 year old girl's hip and injured her mother and the uber driver.
This sounds like a stitch up - AGAIN.
Why not charge with dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm?
What a lucky and dare I say PRIVILEGED young man.
I suggest there were some serious and inappropriate behind the scenes negotiations going on here - the whole thing was strange how he wasn't charged with anything until now.Last edited by player 1; 11-13-2024, 03:08 PM.Tags: None
