I find that hard to believe.
Given your naivety of the Dragons, it is no surprise that you don't know about the history of other teams that got away with cheating the system. Raiders only received a small fine and had to shed some stars (such as Glenn Lazarus) to get back under the salary cap.

    fills the senior leadership void
fill in for walker and b smith while out and Potentially goes into 6 once walker and smith back for the season
At the right price, I agree. Adds a kicking game also, and being shown the door might just stoke the fire of ambition again.

"They" wouldn't allow it. It could destroy the code.

    Thanks King.
I doubt they would have been the only club doing that.
My junior team Burwood United who were the premiers had players coming from Grandville, Drummoyne & Leichhardt because they wanted to play for the best team.

Regarding the "great" Raiders side. I can still remember Laurie Daley being interviewed at full-time in their Grand Final win and admitting Raiders were 30% over the salary cap.

No impact at all. Coach Strange is overseeing the Roosters Women's Pathways program (Central Coast Roosters and Sydney Roosters), and Roosters NRLW players are taking on various coaching and training roles of the academy development , Lisa Fiaola and Tarsha Gale Cup squads.

Penrith do have a strong focus on the women's game. They have under-16's development squads plus teams in the under-17's Lisa Fiaola and under-19's Tarsha Gale Cup junior rep comps and will also be entering a team in the Harvey Norman Women's Premiership in 2025. Part of the criteria to be an applicant for admission to the NRLW comp is a female pathway to the NRLW program.

Melbourne Storm are behind the others in just starting their female development program but have an intention to have an NRLW side in the future—be also entering teams in the Women's Junior Rep comps.

Penrith, Manly, and Souths will be strong candidates for admission to the NRLW comp when the next expansion occurs.

Who were the ineligible star players they got to play for them?

Did anyone say St George who won 11 comps in a row were on something or the great Parra & Canberra teams?
The Panthers are going through a golden era thanks to Gus’s five year plan which took 10 years.
If someone like Gus could run the Wests Tigers properly & fully relocate to the Macarthur area they could also be a powerhouse & so could the Warriors.

Firstly you can’t compare the competition from then & now, secondly all you here from coaches is burnout burnout burnout!!!, & need to manage the season proper, while Penrith have been known for training harder then they play so game day becomes easier, now to do this for a year MAYBE but 5 years straight is impossible without some type of enhancements especially for recovery.

Players are regularly tested as well
So you’re saying Penrith have a better coach who trains/prepares his team better than other coaches in the comp. I think you’re absolutely right.
