For those who didn't pick it up, the 4 teams playing in Las Vegas play on the Sunday the week before the rest of the teams play their Rnd 1 games.

We effectively get 2 weeks between Rnd 1 v Bronco's & Rnd 2 v Manly.

And yet again the NRL gives us significantly less rest before the vermin game.

Im pretty happy with our draw, not perfect but we seem to have got one of the better ones compared to some teams.

Only one game against Penrith so at least we're not starting out 0-2 before a game has even been played.

I like it. Only 2 5 day turnarounds, no byes in the first half of the season & they’re nicely spaced for the back half. We only play Penrith once in the regular season. I think 8 of the first 13 would be a pass mark, if we get that, there’s no reason we can’t get 10 of the last 11. Finish with 42 points which should be in the top 4. Tough first 4 weeks, nobody panic if we only win 1 of them although I think we should get 2.

Tough start to the year we better not miss the kick with our usual dawdle out of the gates or we will be behind the eight ball.
The positive out of it if we can hold our own early it looks set for a decent run home with a late season charge.

I know we've got close to 2x weeks from the Vegas game and round #2 but I hope they manage the players well and we don't get down with jet lag and other fatigue related issues.

This is a real issue, the only time I have been locked up was when I went to the States with the Navy Rugby team.
Just look at the Cops wrong and you end up in cuffs.
