He may be better than Lodge in general, although when Lodge was good he was better than any game Ive seen Leniu play. I don't know about Baker. Not as good, in my opinion as, JWH, Lindsay, May, Whyte or even Butch when he plays prop. I'm not sure who we have coming up the grades. We mustn't have much to buy a 20 minute reserve that people here rave about. Along with his stupid on field behavior I think he is going to be a dud buy. We will see. (not referring to you ism - but "you can't be serious!" sounds like my teenage daughter when I tell her something mild that she doesn't like.)
So your saying his coach doesnt rate him because he was the 3rd string prop behind Leota and JFH. I would say his coach was pretty spot on hey, which is why we are not paying anywhere near 800 plus that the other 2 would cost.

Don't get me wrong, I like Spencer and I think he's great value at $525k a year but I'd have no problem if the club signed JFH for $1million a year. He is the games best prop and has played a huge part in the Panthers recent success.

JFH is in the top 5 props on the game but not the best
Haas, AFB and Tino above him got mtrs but he would be top 5 for sure

Watch the 2023 grand final again and compare the impact of both Haas and JFH and then watch NZ demolish Australia 30 - 0 in last months Pacific Cup. JFH was immense.! One of the best performances I've seen in a long time.

I was surprised that James Maloney wasn't given an opportunity to join our coaching staff. He was basically a player, coach to some degree when he was at the Roosters. When the Chips were down Maloney stepped up and kept his team mates calm. E.g 2013 grand final. Surely someone of his calibre would be an asset to the club!

Has Robinson gotten rid of anyone since he said that?

If anything Brett Morris is a double down on his staff being with him.

Best to look up the Roosters home page next year when the seasons starts to find out who is in the coaching staff. Lots of other stuff there too that you might find interesting.

Read an interview with Robbo about a week ago. Cordner is defence coach, Holbrook attack coach and King working on both. Jake Friend also helping out. BMoz will probably help at training when Cup side players are training with first grade.
