in news just in seems like labor is likely to get the outright majority. they've pulled ahead of the greens in brisbane and if they stay there that should be it so long as they win macnamara as expected. obviously good for labor and will make things easier in the lower house but with the big cross bench it's not that significant. the greens won't be players in the lower house. different story in the upper house - if the coalition take the position that the job of an opposition is to oppose they will give the greens the balance of power

history has shown it is hard to win b2b premierships. seems like in the cauldron of finals footy the hunger just isn't there. of the six premierships i have seen us win, our 2019 is firming as my favourite. doubt the panthers will win the comp this year but will we be good enough to do the business when the heat is on?

Got in fair enough ( a landslide victory ) when most had a gutful of labor being in power for 13 years Fell in the next election with the GST and actually had less votes than Labor ( Yes the way the system works he won ) but the fact it was still to this day the biggest ever swing in Austrlian political history shows divisiveness.

2001 got in on the back of 9/11 and the lying of the children overboard sage where all the thick masses that Paddo Colt refers to who believed this bullshit got him over the line there.

Now how can well forget about sending troops to Iraq on the back of blatant lies of those weapons off mass destruction that are still yet to be found Some of if not the biggest protests ever seen in this Country over that one again is a leading indicator of how divisive little johnnie was.
