Nat King Cole - Autumn Leaves. Funnily enough, I have a remix of this from one of those Chill Out albums from Ministry of Sound..obviously not a silly old bugger song after all :

If we are doing Old Buggers music I have to mention the father of it who influenced so many musicians after his death at only 29.

This link is a beauty with June Carter Cash introducing her sister and Hank doing an old classic.

I have Patsy Cline's version of that one Jack. And wow, that clip is positively ancient. Check THIS one out from a CD we both have. I can't compete with Dolly so that is why Don Henley is not my boyfriend.. She came out of hospital to record this one with Don and then went back as she didn't want him to cancel the session:

So, RWB, you did start the thread.
I shall follow it with interest.

The Seekers, one of my all time favourite groups.

Thank you for the hundreds of songs you gave me Horrie. With the 200 odd ones my workmate gave me from the David Bowie double album and the ones you gave me, that's nearly 700 songs added to my playlist this week..I'll crack 11,000 by the end of the month...
