Wow, Capitalist Paddo is really showing his true capitalist colours in having voted for someone in Allegra Spender, who was from a very privileged background that he supposedly used to despise and whose grandfather, Sir Percy Spender, was a Federal Liberal MP serving as a cabinet minister under both Menzies and Fadden and who tried to outlaw the Communist Party. Spender's father was a federal Liberal MP as well.
Noting that Wentworth is the most wealthy electorate in Australia as well.
Capitalist Paddo is like transparent plastic; you can see right through his charades of him being a so-called commo/socialist and voice for the downtrodden/working poor.
Now building a mansion in the Southern Highlands in another rich electorate of Whitlam, formerly Throsby, as we all know.
These daft lefties fool no one since the capitalist bug has bitten them big time.
Won't be long before they all vote Libs/Nats. Follow the money and count dollars instead of sheep in their sleep.

Albo's massive six-figure cash bonanza from growing property empire

Of course the days are long gone of laboring on MP's coming from the working class/working poor ranks.- Train Driver Ben Chifley( PM) and Boilermaker/Welder William McKell( NSW Premier) would be rolling in their graves..
The so called Karl Marx wealth distribution doctrine/ideology of the commo/socialist movement has been replaced by one of wealth/asset accumulation.
The old adage of if you can't beat them ( Capitalists) then join them is "New Labor"
Capitalist Albo is also renting out his mortgage free Sydney Residence for $1350 per week whilst residing in the lodge rent free.
$564,356 salary as PM plus 122k plus in rental income is a tidy sum indeed - the rental income alone is more than what over 90% of Australians earn as an annual salary.
You can see below why Capitalist Albo was against any scrapping of negative gearing - not the only Laboring on MP at the time either.

Yeah Albo’s not allowed to invest his money. He was raised by a single mum and should not be allowed to progress in this lucky country of ours. Only middle class born and raised Liberal PMs or self made tradies, teachers, public servants etc can invest their money. Sarcasm intended.Last edited by mightyrooster; 02-05-2025, 10:43 AM.

The Daily Mail, another Murdoch rag playing the man as usual - anything, for Murdoch hacks, is grist for the mill. Has every PM in the past rented out his/her civvie residence while living in the Lodge? Dutton has a $300m portfolio should he be mentioned in the article? You know, balance. It is this level of bias that has '08 thinking "sleazy little vermin". Sal also posts News Ltd comment as being valid criticism.
The ALP abandoned the Socialist platform in the 60s (the Socialist objective universally is the State ownership of the means of Production, Distribution and Exchange as an alternative to private control) but Lenin never saw it as a "Socialist Party " anyway. It is essentially a conservative outfit with the contemporary aim of change at the margins and big changes where possible to the benefit of the hoi polloi. All of this diversionary ad hominem criticism is bullshit. Murdoch has it both ways - excoriate the Left for any evident bourgeois tendencies but scream "Politics of Envy" at any valid bollocking of the rich.
Discussion of the Murdoch role will feature prominently unfortunately in discussion yet to come.
